It is a protected, untouched rainforest located on the southeastern coast of Nosy Be Island in northwestern Madagascar. It is known as one of the last remaining rainforests in the region and is famous for its high biodiversity, including lemurs (such as the Nosy Be sportive lemur), endemic chameleons, geckos, and rare flora.
